Decided to go into an Anterian sector even though the gaia has really issues with them.
And it all worked out well... until I hit a basic auto scout

A new year a new update!
ver0.8b:
-> Since I realized that 11/18 ships have no (or just partial) shielding, I removed most of the combat-drone ships from sector one.
You will now face something like a 4 man teleporter rebels ship instead. After sector 1 all gets back to normal.
-> added one homeworld event for the engi
-> Gaia has slightly more missiles.

Your mod is awesome, love playing it.
Having some hard time with the Gaia, now trying to destroy oxygen only. I should get enough time to buy weapons that if I suffocate them.
