No everything that changes events, wont work with each other. You can only add weapon & ship mods on top of it.
Here is the Stuff I made:

And even those may fail if the weapon names clash. So many mods incompatible due to lazy weapons naming scheme.

I would be surprised if someone has called a weapon "ORGAN_ATOM1" too.

This version should (hopefully) fix the crash issues within custom sectors.

version0.7a:
-> added 2 new weapons
-> added 2 new drones
-> added 1 new enemy
-> added 5-6 new events
-> nerfed black hole generator to 4 (2x hull)
-> buffed Uz'ran enemies
-> buffed Treel enemies
-> buffed Anterian enemies
-> gave the celiak ship +1 weapon system

*note:
In order to get all crash issues; I have given the Celiak ship a drone control, but no drone slots. So you are still not supposed to buy drones or cloak on this ship. It's just so that the game crashed before on buying/dropping certain drones.*

Damn it! I died right after this screen shot because I went afk on an empty beacon, not realizing I had my O2 turned off. Damn it was such a good run. Well at least I got to the Anterian homeworld atleast.

-> added 2 new weapons
-> updated the Anterian shield images
-> updated Treel disruptor II's image
-> nerfed Ion laser Beta (no sp any more)
-> nerfed attack drone beta to 4 power
-> removed starting teleporters from Beta terminator and Delta cruiser.

Interesting enough there are barely any downloads after the 0.7 patch which fixed the crashes. Apparently people dont want a crash free experience.

I can reintroduce them if that helps...

-> nerfed Gamma destroyer
-> changed beta Ion laser to 2 shots with 1/1
-> Gave later enemies of Uz'rans more hp.
-> reduced the boarder amounts on all events.
