As many people have said, it's a problem with the floor image. Just load up a ship editor, (I used superliminal) import the mod, and change the floor image to an image of just transparency. Then re-export it and load it in GMM.

Hope this solves everyone's problems.

How exactly do I change it to trasparent? Do I edit the actual image file, or is it in superliminal?

Go into an image editor (Gimp is a good one) and just make an image that's entirely transparent. Mine was around 200X200 pixels. Save that somewhere you can access. Then, in superliminal, click on the "floor" button on the top right, and select that image from wherever you saved it. Then you can export it.

Just did a run of this ship, and it was completely ridiculous. So, first I get an Ion blast II for free, then I find and buy a pre-igniter in a store. Then, some federation loyalists give me a glaive beam. THEN, I find a "random burst laser III" floating in space. Guess what I find a couple jumps later? Some debris from a battle which contains ANOTHER burst laser III.

Needless to say, I won.
BTW, I had a lot of fun with this ship. I got crew a couple times, but I let them suffocate and I never bought an oxygen system. I was a true Auto-Assault! Great idea and great ship. Kudos to thee, fair modmaker.

It won't let me buy crew members.:(
It says I have too many crew members to buy any.

It's a bug* in the game. If you start with 0 crew it thinks you have the max. You can't buy crew but you can pick them up from random encounter. It'll warn you that you have to drop someone, but you don't actually have to.

* It's not really a bug because they never intended on people playing automated ships, so simply never coded for it. We're fortunate that it works at all!

An image with a surface area of 2 pixels will work just fine. Or 4 pixels. Pretty easy to do, with or without transparency, works like a charm for me.
