Hi,
I have bought "Into the breach" from gog.com and updated today to version 1.0.16 (before that I had versions 1.0.10 and 1.0.14 installed). The game runs fine but
- I have absolutely no sound (all other games - including your FTL which I have also bought from gog.com - and applications run fine, there are no sound issues with any other program)
- the game consistently crashes (and creates a crash dump file in C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Local\CrashDumps) whenever I quit. This happens since version 1.0.10 and can be reproduced.
I tried to contact gog's support but they only gave me the usual response (udpate directx, update all drivers, etc.) which does not really help. My PC is up-to-date and I'm sure that there are no issues on my side.
Please let me know what further information (directx output, crash dump files) you need to fix this and where to send/upload them, thank you!

I have just tested today's gog.com non-galaxy release 1.0.17 and wanted to publish an update here for all gog.com users of the game: please be aware that the game will only give you sound if you allow it to access the internet on startup!
I have done this test:
start the game without internet access - no sound in the game and a crash when you click on Quit
start the game and allow internet access - sound was ok, no crash when you quit
start the game without internet accesss - again no sound in the game and a crash when you click on Quit
start the game and allow internet access - sound was ok
start the game without internet - sound was gone again!
So the problem can be reproduced and has to do with the game being allowed internet access which should not really be necessary for a single player game. I have also informed subset games and gog.com by e-mail and hope that this can be fixed in the next version, thank you!
