What was your ever dumbest moment you had through the game?

I was having fun with the lanius ship and boarding enemies, when i encountered one of those auto drones.
I didnt paid attention that it was attempting to jump away when i decided to send my 2 lanius boarders to damage the enemy ship. With such bad luck i sent them RIGHT when he jumped.
I had a clonebay, so i thought at first, oh well, no matter, they will come back!
They dissapeared from my crew list.
I fucked up.
And there goes my whole fucking "make the galaxy a fucking derelict of empty ships" run
