My father recently updated his computer to run *sigh* Windows 10. Since that time his FTL game has been showing a deplorable frame rate. In his words "1 frame a second", and it's not much of an exaggeration. I have tried to update his drivers for his GPU, no luck, no updates. I turned on V-Sync in the game, no difference. Any other suggestions that I am not aware of? Anything would be good at the moment as he loves the game. ANYTHING. I would even accept taking a hammer to this thing at the moment.

I'm not having this problem, either before or after installing Windows 10 (I had an excuse. I was running 8 ).

Have you tried fully uninstalling and reinstalling the game? Running not-fullscreen?

I know FTL used to have framerate issues on some computers and know that installing drivers usually fixed it. Maybe your card's drivers have some issue in Win 10.
