FTL keeps crashing randomly when i use mods

when ever i use these mods the game keeps on crashing after jumps these are the mod that I was using at the time
captains edition 1.203

The sM polish kit for advanced edition
personally i think that it might be captions addition trying to do an event and so is AE&when i jump some where
PS: any one know any modes that add LOADS of new events? thanks bunch
