Mind Control on the Flagship removes crew member

I've seen the following bug with Mind Control on the Flagship twice now:

When: The first or second flagship fights.

Steps:
1. Kill all but one enemy crew member
2. Mind control the remaining crew member
3. Destroy the flagship while it's last crew member is still under mind control.
4. The flagship jumps away.
5. Follow it.

Expected result:
The flagship should still have one crew member, no longer under mind control.

Observed:
The flagship has no crew members left and the AI takes over.

Variations: I've only observed this with the last enemy crew member, but I have never tried it when there was more than one.

Version: 1.5.10

Just to make sure, where was the guy when you beat the phase?

In particular, if the guy was in a room that broke off when you blew up that phase (lasers, doors, or cloak in phase 1; beam, scanners, or drones in phase 2, or the hallways in those sections) then he wouldn't have made it to the next phase anyway. If he was in shields or engines or something like that, then you've found a bug.

The crewman was in one of the isolate weapons rooms that remained attached for the following battle (front left, lasers).

Yeah that's a bug all right (and I said Lasers up there when I meant Ions. Sorry about that).

I wouldn't say it's actually a bug. The game treats mind-controlled crew as friendly, which is why you can teleport them back to your ship as well. When the flagship was defeated and jumped away, there were no more "enemy" crew aboard it at the time.
Of course, it's kind of a weird situation, but from a mechanics standpoint that's exactly what I'd expect to happen.

I can understand how the implementation might work out that way, but it does seem odd in the boss fight to be able to 'kill' an enemy crew member by mind-controlling them. There's nowhere else in the game this would come up.

This is a bug that will be fixed in the next update. Kieve you're correct in terms of how the game treats the rules, but I don't believe mind controlled crew should be counted in that manner at that time.
