And one of these days I'll post enough here to get out of my moderation review. Gee, I kinda feel like Speedy just about to get his wings too...(http://en.seekcartoon.com/watch/21104-the-venture-bros-season-1-episode-1-dia-de-los-dangerous.html#.UgK-1pI3J8F from 5:38 onward)

Great that this has been done, people who post those bot's have to respect
I remember I was watching a YouTube video about top ten tragedies caught on film, and the f%#^ing "RihannaX Rihanna" spambot comes up. That is seriously sad

Re: Forum restrictions for new users!
As a new user who's just seen something unusual, I have a couple of questions.
1. Do all new users see posts in the moderation queue?
2. Are all new users lacking the "report" button?
I ask because another new user has apparently created 15 threads since my most recent post, all of which are most definitely visible to me, and none of which have anything to do with a topic remotely resembling FTL or any other possible projects I could imagine the FTL devs working on ("inter-caste marriage" being one of the highlights - go ahead and prove me wrong by making a game about that).
I would PM a mod instead of posting the question here, but... well, I think you can see how the "no Private Messages" restriction might interfere with that plan slightly...

Re: Forum restrictions for new users!
1) That was spam. Unfortunatly the system is imperfect so it can happen that rather obvious spam is not detected and a user goes and floods the forum. The topics you mentioned have been plagueing us for a while now.
2) The report button has to be re-activated with a GreaseMonkey script that you can install to your web browser. Unfortunatly the button is disabled by default due to some buggy BBcode or something. The link for the script is in my signature.
3) Welcome to the forum, and apologies for the silly inconveniences. Spammers are a plague on this world.

Report spam using the handy Report Button Mod.
