Ice Launcher mech fired on vek over lava tile - nothing happened

I think it's as intended. I discovered the same thing when my mech was over lava. I froze the enemy but not myself.
I think the logic is the lava doesn't freeze, so the vek gets frozen, falls down onto lava breaking it out, it's a flying unit so it just flys back up. Net result is nothing happens. Kind of a bummer to discover that way. :/
