Yeah your audio needs work. How do you record? I have a bit of experience in that area (Been podcasting since 2006

) and had many of the problems you're having.
It sounds like you're being a little too aggressive on the noise removal or maybe the compression of your audio. It's always better to fix those things before you record but I know a few ways to clean things up if there is no other option.
Also, your video is 480 max. If at all possible you should upload 720 (the game's native resolution). It won't stop me from watching but it could stop others.
Regarding the content. You "quite like" the Vortex? I HATE that ship.

Regarding episode length, I personally like to record an entire playthough and then try to cut it by time, somewhere between 20-30 minutes seems to be good. At least, nobody complains

If you want to keep with sectors, may I suggest doing 2 sectors per episode? Once you get rolling you'll find a sector takes about 15 minutes on average so a win will take about 2 hours. That means 4 30-minute episodes per full game.
Regarding play: You turned off your engines to turn on the anti personnel drone. You should have turned off your repair drone and kept the engines online. You also had a lot of scrap and should have used it to upgrade engines and shields to mitigate some of the damage you were taking.
Sometimes they offer better than you'll get for killing them. Usually if they offer you a thing, take it. Or fuel. More than 4 fuel is usually a good deal.
I would have bought either the auto reloader or drone recovery arm (probably not both but maybe), and would have regretted all game not getting the other one. I would not have hired the crew, even though this ship comes very light on crew.
