[SHIP] Y-Wing Assault Bomber

Hey there. Kierany9 here with my second mod. Gonna keep the forum post short this time because I wrote a long-ass post before getting hit by a powercut. The Y-Wing Assault Bomber is a shieldless two-man fighter. Like the X-Wing fighter but with one more man. The Y-Wing has impressive weaponry, albeit unoptimized for battling against enemy craft. And also a pain in the ass to balance. Seriously, it was either ridiculously OP or horrible.

-Inreased Proton Torpedoes cooldown time from 14s to 15s
-Reduced Proton Torpedoes power consumption from 3 to 2

The Y-Wing

Missiles: 24
Weapons: 4 slots, Assault Cannon, Proton Torpedo, 4 System Power
Drones: 2 slots, System Repair Drone, Defense Drone Mk I, 4 System Power
Teleporter: None, cannot be bought
Shields: None, can be bought for 50 scrap and upgraded for 250
Sensors: 2
Cloak: None, can be bought
Engines: 1 System Power
Medbay/Life-Support/Piloting: Level 1
Doors: Level 2
Augments: None

NOTE: This ship is designed to have 2 crew members. Despite being able to purchase crew, and teleporters, this defeats the purpose of the ship in the case of crew, and will not add the selected system in the case of teleporters.

Ok, so I tried this mod and... I didn't like it. I died three times, once being shot down by a anti-ship drone, the other two having my drone control smashed, both my crew members suffocating because my O2 was shot and there wasn't a thing I could do about it. There is absolutely no way to avoid taking a hit with this thing, and if they hit your drone control, everything is going to get by. If I make a suggestion, making it start with cloak or having the assault cannon fire faster would make this more bearable, but as it stands right now, I just don't think it was very good.

Yeah, the ship is very hard until you find more weapons. The Assault Cannon and Proton Torpedoes can't do much on their own. The X-Wing is similar to this ship but with less hull, different power settings+drones and starts with two Dual Lasers, which wrecks ships like there's no tommorow. I've buffed this ship a lot, especially in the weapons department. Proton torpedoes ate up power like crazy and the Assault Cannon's firerate was way too slow. I'll be uploading the link once I've tested it a bit.

Actually, that isn't a bad way to judge the difficulty of a ship. So far I've eased it a bit more and am able to beat the game with it.
