[Ships] EVE Online Ships

Hello!

I present to you my [soon to be] gallery of ships from the EVE Online Universe!

If you would like me to make more ships, please just ask.


THE THORAX

Drone Control

Relatively Cramped

Bugs/Issues:
Floor Image isn't working
Some stations don't have a background image (although one is made for them)
Cloak is temporary

Good start. The ship will need work in the blueprints because that's where most of the errors are. Read this guide to familiarise yourself with ways to align the floorplan and sort out manned stations. Also, you can hit up #ftlgame on QuakeNet and ask all sorts of questions there. We're helpfull. :)

As for the ship, it seems to have slightly too many airlocks. Wouldn't want the player to deal with fires too easily. Maybe remove the top two and halve the number of the rest? And since the ship starts with decent firepower and two help drones, maybe cut down the crew size to 2.

Thanks for the advice.
I mainly used superluminal to make it and I haven't messed with editing the text files much. Also I think I may have forgotten to put gibs in :oops:

nice idea, can't wait till you have more of them in!
I liked the ships but I just didn't like how EVE itself operated (you died? well, good-bye ship worth millions)

"Don't fly what you cannot afford to replace" The entire concept of EVE.
But yeah that game isn't for everybody, its mostly a PVP environment even at starting areas.
Hard to trust people but the players are really friendly and helpful to beginners. :D

I would want to see more EVE ships as mods for FTL although personally I'd enjoy seeing them with in-game textures.
